I have a jury summons. Where can I find jury information?
What are the laws and court rules on jury selection? What law applies to grand juries? What happens if I do not return the questionnaire?
Answer
You can find jury information the court system's nyjuror.gov website. The website has handbooks for employers and trial and grand jurors and reprints Criminal Procedure Law, art 190.
New York Judiciary Law § 527 Procedure for noncompliance and 22 NYCRR § 128.12 Failure to respond to questionnaire or summons describe how hearings for noncompliance should be conducted.
Grand jury reports issued by the Manhattan District Attorney's Office are linked through the Office's press reports.
