I want to get an affirmation outside the United States. What is the applicable New York rule?

"A recent amendment to CPLR 2106 broadens the use of unsworn affirmations (instead of affidavits) beyond attorneys, physicians, osteopaths or dentists. Chapter 380 of the Laws of 2014 [codified as CPLR 2106(b)] allows New York courts to consider unsworn affirmations by any person physically outside the United States or its possessions​."
