On February 14 and September 18, 2019, respectively, Governor Cuomo signed Laws 2019, Ch. 11 and Laws 2019, Ch. 315 into law, both with immediate effect. These amendments--mostly to statutes of limitation, for criminal and civil offenses against minors--are collectively known as the Child Victims Act.
